B.Sc. in Biology (1998-2002) from the São Paulo State University (UNESP, Brazil). PhD (2003-2008) in Plant Biology from the University of Sao Paulo (USP, Brazil). Post-doctoral fellow at University of Sao Paulo (USP, Brazil) and University of Würzburg (Germany) from 2008 to 2010. Honorary Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Liverpool (UK, 2016-2018). Professor at the Department of Botany, Institute of Biosciences, University of São Paulo (Brazil), working on Plant Development and Signal Transduction.

Débora Pagliuso (Postdoctoral fellow)

B.Sc. in Biotechnology (2015) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná. M.Sc. in Science (2018) focusing on the effect of light on the plasticity of duckweed carbohydrates from the Inter-unit Graduate Program in Biotechnology at the University of São Paulo. Currently working as a postdoctoral fellow, investigating the effect of temperature on factors related to light perception and abiotic stress on the development of pollen and tomato fruits.

Fabrício Custódio de Moura Gonçalves (Postdoctoral fellow)

B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Piauí (2011) and a B.Sc. in Agronomic Engineering from the State University of Piauí (2014). M.Sc. (2017) and PhD (2021) in Agronomy (Horticulture) from the Faculty of Agronomic Sciences (FCA - UNESP, Botucatu), both with an emphasis on Plant Physiology and Biochemistry. Postdoctoral fellow at the University of São Paulo (USP-IB), focusing in research on Plant Development Regulation.

Patrícia Juliana Lopes Oliveira (PhD student)

B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from the State University of Londrina (UEL, 2017), and a M.Sc. in Sciences (2019) from the same institution, with research in Biodiversity and Conservation, focused on Plant Ecophysiology. Currently, is a PhD student in the postgraduate program in Botany at the Institute of Biosciences of USP, in the sub-area of Plant Development Biology, where studies the influence of the enzyme S-nitrosoglutathione reductase (GSNOR) and nitric oxide levels on the reproductive development of tomato plants under high temperatures.

José Laurindo dos Santos Júnior (PhD student)

B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Sergipe. PhD student in Biological Sciences (Botany) at the Institute of Biosciences/USP, focusing on Plant Development Biology. Currently, is investigating the influence of phytochrome-mediated signaling on the reproductive development of tomato plants under high temperatures.

Talyta Messias Rodrigues (M.Sc. student)

B. Sc. Biological Sciences from the Federal Institute of Southern Minas Gerais (2023). M.Sc. student in Botany at the Institute of Biosciences of the University of São Paulo (USP), conducts research on the effects of high temperatures on the reproductive development of tomato plants. The work involves analyses of pollen prediction, germination and growth of the pollen tube, as well as anatomical and productivity assessments.
